Course Prices: £85 per person for a 1-day Advanced Navigation Course (up to 2 people)
This course is for people who are already out and about, exploring the mountains and navigating their way along tracks and trails. Our Custom Navigation Course will be tailor made to yout requirements. If you are happy with all aspects of compass and map work, but want to improve your pacing and timing abilities, we can do that. You might want to learn how to navigate off-path more confidently, or you may just want to learn some simpler ways to do something you already can do.
You will spend the day with one of our qualified Mountain Leaders, who will take you somewhere remote and wild in the Snowdonia National Park. They will provide close coaching, showing you different ways of achieving the same thing so that you can have a variety of skills in your 'toolbox'. As well as being an instructor, they will also be a guide for the day, taking you to some quiet and hidden corners that you will need to be able to navigate well to find!
You will be learning with one of our qualified Mountain Leaders, and you will get plenty of chance to practice your skills as you progress through the weekend. You won't even need to take notes, as we will post or email information sheets to you after the course.
